Willow was found on the side of a country road bordered only by tobacco and corn fields after her mother had been hit by a car.  Her foster mom says it was just short of a miracle that she was passing by and saw the mother cat and slowed down enough to spot the baby clinging to her mother. The foster mom pulled off the side of the road, and not having a carrier or a trap, did not know what would happen when she rescued the tiny baby and put her in the car for the trip back to Hampton.  The baby settled right down in her lap for the ride home.  Willow has been in foster care all these years because people who have met her did not want a less than perfect cat.  Willow has tear duct occlusion, meaning her tear ducts are impacted.  This is cosmetic only and requires her face being washed once a day.  Willow is a loving lap cat.  She is one to sit on the newspaper as her foster parents read and wants to be in their laps while they watch TV or work on the computer.  She sleeps in the bed between them if she can find a spot.  There are always several others waiting to have the best spot in the bed.  If you don't mind daily face washing, you will have a very special loving girl to fill the void in your family.  If you would like to meet her call her foster mom to set up a meeting.  Gwen  757-848-3776.  Willow doesn't know a stranger!
