Peaches was discovered in a junk yard trying to survive among the old cars and other stray cats. She must have been very hungry because she went right in the trap.  As we were carrying her to the car the sun came out and we noticed the beautiful peach color in her fur and so we named her Peaches.  At first she was very quiet and seemed to wait patiently to see what was going to happen next.  After she was tested, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated she went home with one of our volunteers.  In only a few days she was letting us pet her and pick her up to check her surgery site.  In about 2 weeks she was responding to us when we approached her cage and the rest is history.  Peaches is a sweet, gentle girl who loves attention, food and her toys.  She immediately purrs when you pick her up and talks to us when she wants attention.  Peaches is a "head butter" and kisser and wants to be as close to you as she can get.  She has a bit of mischief in her because she occasionally steals her neighbors toys.  Bottomline is that Peaches has become a wonderful kitty with tons of personality and lots of love to offer her new family.  If you would like more information on Peaches, plese contact her foster mom, Betty, at 757-508-5298.
