Rainbow Bridge

7/30/14 Precious came to us on a fall day after her owner had passed away unexpectedly. She was an old lady at the time, 19 yrs old, and the family of the woman could not keep her. ANB said she could live her last days here with the other cats people no longer wanted. Precious was loved and given a warm bed in the winter and a sunny spot in the summer where she spent her last days. She defied the odds and attained or nearly attained 22 years on this earth. We wish Precious a peaceful crossing of the Rainbow Bridge where she will be healthy and full of life once again. We will miss her, but so happy she is no longer suffering.

Smokey was first seen in a local neighborhood. When first spotted he was fat and happy so neighbors thought he had a home. Several months later when they saw him again he was very thin and hungry and they knew he had been abandoned. They rescued him and brought him to ABN rescue where we were able to find him a wonderful home. Sadly Smokey was not as young as originally thought and so after only a year and a half with his new family he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. We are glad that his last year and a half were spent in a family that loved him dearly. His crossing has left a hole in the hearts of all who knew him.

Meow Meow
Meow Meow, one of our resident garage cats passed on Tuesday, April 26th. He was a very sweet and loving boy and will be forever in our hearts. Meow is no longer in pain and now has a full set of teeth and can eat all he wants!!!!

Munchie passed away on July 8, 2012. Munchie had been a resident garage/house cat since Sept. 2005. Munchie is in a better place now. We are sorry she is gone, but glad she is no longer suffering. RIP, Munchie.
